She’s got a big fight ahead but at least Imë doesn’t have to face the demon-horde alone. For now the first trailer shows off a good chunk of multi-clone gameplay, from animated intro to Imë facing off against an opponent that can copy her time-duplicating tricks. While consoles have yet to be announced it doesn’t seem too unlikely it will eventually be coming to the usual suspects afterwards, but if so that’s a reveal for another day. Lysanga: The Time Shift Warrior was only revealed today during the Summer Game Fest event, but more details can be expected relatively soon seeing as the game has a 2023 release window on both Steam and the Epic Game Store. It’s still a little early for specifics on how all its gameplay elements fit together, such as what determines the number of time-clones, how long they last, and if getting a small army working in sync means replaying an area a whole bunch of times with each clone needing to fight perfectly. Imë’s rewind ability is for a few seconds of combat so she’ll need to use the time wisely, but new spells, weapons, and abilities learned along the way will help make her a more effective warrior as the fights heat up. Become legion and triumph over hordes of monsters to rescue Antala in this Hack'N'Slash game with a tactical twist. Rewind time to create clones of your past-selves, and fight with an army of your own. Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior is an isometric action-combat game where an ancient evil has done what ancient evils do, and now Imë, the Lysfanga of the New Kingdom (Lysfanga is her title, not her name) needs to fight a battle far bigger than can be won by a single warrior. Community Hub Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior Your Kingdom’s fate relies on you you and you. But if v.2 fails as well that’s fine, because there’s more ghost-Imë where that came from. Not in an “insert quarter to try again” kind of way, but rather with the events of the first round still playing out as her ghost-self runs, attacks, and eventually falls, but hopefully not before Imë v.2 has completed the job she couldn’t do alone. Imë doesn’t have this problem, or at least not quite so much of it, because the Goddess of Time has granted her the ability to rewind time. The real treasure may be the friends the hero makes along the way but they’re still fighting solo, venturing alone into the depths of the enemy stronghold to face the ultimate threat. They need to set out on what usually starts as a fairly simple task before things spiral out of control, and eventually the entire world rests on an epic journey.
